Haggerston Park played host to Found Festival, this event has to have been the most intimate festival I’ve been to in a local park in East London. Once again Found delivered, with their usual style, class and grace.
The weather was great which set the mood just right for a festival. The bass line booming, the beautiful production and warmth Found has us accustomed too and the Found festival goers raving hard to the bad boy tracks the DJ’s had to offer.
In the ‘No Fit State’ tent I can honestly say all cylinders were firing. Darius Syrossian stole the show for me. His set was blinding and his selections of tunes were seriously on another level. He really had the crowd going insane.
The ladies Anja Schneider and Magda both pulled some stompers out the bag. The Krankbrothers also played some old tunes that I haven’t heard for a long time, it’s always nice when DJ’s slip a few oldies into the mix!
The energy that was ooooozing from the crowd and the vibe was incredible. I would say that Found had a super cool and relaxed vibe, it just flowed perfectly.
Damian Lazarus was the last set of the evening, and he was smashing! Another man of the moment, his last tune was explosive and I wasn’t expecting it, but he went there with a classic from the 80s I found Loving by Fat Back Band. WOW! What a treat that went down, the whole crowd went mental!
The Coronet was the venue for the after party and well what can I say…. Alex Arnout was outstanding, he meant business. Absolutely spot on his deep selection, it was highly entertaining and definately the set of the night for me. Amine Edge & Dance never failed to deliver, a round of applause goes to you guys. Voyeur also played a great set.
Found, thank you! I had a whale of a time and I sure did dance my socks off. Also I have to let you know that I was impressed that the toilets was well stocked with tissues whoop whoop!
